I don't even know if that's good or not but everyone else thought it was awesome - so we'll go with that. I ran the trot in one hour and seventeen minutes. I cannot even believe that I survived. Honestly, I felt like I was going to pass out around mile four and then somewhere before we hit the mile five marker, my legs, heart and will got new life. And I was running!

(please note: I took the picture before running the trot, as afterwards I looked like a big puddle of sweat that could barely move. Since I was that tired, I stayed in these clothes cooking all day until our first guest arrived)

That's a great time! Was dinner awesome?!?
I cannot fathom how you managed to make dinner after running eight miles. Hell I was up at six and by two I had to keep telling myself to push forward. I knew once food was on the table and wine in my hand I could collapse. Granted I was on my feet for two days cooking, probably explains the slight weight loss. I really thought I was going to blow the diet but I think with all the running around and time on my feet I off set any food I ate.
Congratulations on completing the race. One hour seventeen sounds good to me.
