One More Month!?!

Well, tomorrow it will officially be one month until Cowboy sets foot back in the USA.

One month! Are you kidding me?

People warned me that it would go by quickly and I didn't believe. There were days and I'm sure some more coming up, where I thought I'd never make it to the end. You know those days where you look at the clock and still only 2:00pm

I hate those days.

And since I've been living up in here like I'm the only one, I have tons to do and things to get rid of of, er hide before he gets home. When he left, it looked like a cohabiting couple lived here. Since, it has become a full on girl apartment, if you ask me.

So, bring on the projects...

This weekend I plan to re-organize this place.
Then I'll need to do the following in the next month (holy crap, a month, I'm baffled)
-move Cowboy's car. I was supposed to be doing this weekly but since CR#1 parked it in a place making that difficult, I haven't touched it. Yes, I'm calling his old roomie to move that car. I don't want to be the one to blame if I hit the wall. And since I've never driven a pick up truck before - hitting the wall is very likely.

-get Cowboy's car detailed. This is the only reason we're moving the car - to get it detailed. I thought it would be a nice gift for him to come back to a nice shiny truck. And it'll be one item off his to do list.

-organize his mail for him. I'm trying to make things as easy as they can be for when he returns. I'm going to separate his mail into billing, magazines, etc.

-organize the closet, for both of us. Yeah, I shoved all his clothes into a cramped corner of the closet because my clothes needed to breathe.

-buy his favorite groceries.

-possibly buy a leather club chair. Possibly. He is dying for one of these in our living room. I say, possibly, because I do not have the time to go and shop for one. Have I told you guys about my August travel schedule?

Allow me:
Next weekend, I'm in San Antonio on Friday and Saturday. Back in Dallas Sunday for a baby shower I'm co-hosting.
That next weekend: I'm co-hosting a surprise birthday party for a friend.
The following weekend: It's the wedding that I'm maid of honoring. Finally! We can get that show rolling. I can't wait to share with y'all the details we came up with. I promised E that I wouldn't make them public knowledge until after the wedding...some brides.
The last weekend of the month: My mom has decided to come to Dallas. And now that I've typed it - maybe that's the perfect time to shop for leather club chair. Because my mom loves to shop and more than anything she loves to shop for home goods.
