UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I don't even know where to begin, so I'll start at the beginning and end at the end. (hope you got that reference)
Today both my managers met with our HR person. The subject of the meeting was simply: 'Golightly'. The meeting request was sent out only a few hours before the start of the meeting. I know because we have Outlook and I have access to their calendars and meeting requests.
Naturally, I freaked out.
The meeting lasted ten minutes. Then Boss A and B went into Boss A's office, door shut.
I freaked out some more.
Boss B left, went into her office. Boss A went back into the HR office, door shut.
I am tripping at this point.
Boss B looks like she got the worst news of her life. She looked like she was about to cry...but that may be me reading into it too much.
Boss A returns to her office, door shut, calls Boss B. I know because we all share the same phone lines, so I can just see it on the call display.
Hmm...
Boss B now goes into HR's office with a huge stack of papers, door shutty.
Boss A's door is still closed.
I so need to be talked off the ledge at this point in time. (Thank you, Twisted and Bev)
Boss B leaves HR's office and is now in Boss A's office. Door? Yeah, shut!
A few moments later, another meeting request is sent out for both of them to attend a new meeting tomorrow afternoon, subject?
"Talk About Golightly"
Yes. They know I can see the requests and their calendars. Let's not get me started on how unprofessional it is that they are sending out meetings with my name on it, knowing I can see it. WTF is that about, right?
It is clear to me, that a whole new bag of bad news is going to drop on my plate. What? When?
Who knows. Apparently, they do.
crap.

I still think you should just straight up ask if there is anything you need to know.
Yikes! Have you heard anything yet?
