Your Golightly has been terminated from the law firm.
Reasons: not booking Boss B's flight and not paying attention to detail...oh but if we carefully review: I was so set up. I cannot get into detail now due to the many sangria I have had and the hour it is. But mark my words I was SET UP.
The firm didn't like me. I didn't like them.
It's like a break-up and I was so supposed to do it first.
They beat me to the punch.
End of story.
I am so upset...it is rough. My very first termination, hopefully my last.
So now you'll hear a lot more from me and forgive me if the post topics include Regis and Kelly, The View, various The Practice and Law and Order reruns, General Hospital, and Oprah.
Because that will so be my world for a good while now.

Can't stress this enough: Enjoy your time off. Another job will find you soon enough.
Paying attention to detail is overrated. Personally, I think of myself as a "big picture" kinda gal. Us big picture people are the ones who end up running the show, because we have bigger, more creative, and more intellectually interesting ideas than proofreading an Excel sheet requires.
To paraphrase Scuffy the Tugboat: you were meant for bigger things!
deep breaths... deep breaths... it's the summer and you've got some time off... I know it's stressful to jobsearch but please try to enjoy every second of freedom that you possibly can. You'll be cooped up in an office again before you know it.
